Fire crews spent the morning battling a four-alarm fire in the 1500 block of N. Oregon St. in Ontario.
An Ontario Police dispatcher tells us the fire started in a field this morning and spread to a nearby house. "The conditions are very dry," she said.
Trucks from the Ontario, Nyssa, Payette and Fruitland Fire Departments all responded.
No word on how the fire started. No injuries have been reported.
