Police arrest a Caldwell man after they say he was drunk when he ran into a bicyclist. It happened at the intersection of 5th Avenue and Dearborn Street in CAldwell around 8:23pm on Friday night. The biker was struck by a Nissan truck, driven by Timothy Packer. After an investigation, Packer was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and booked into the Canyon County Jail. The 26 year old victim was taken to the hospital for his injuries.
