Search of river for 21 firearms comes up empty
BUHL, Idaho (AP) -- Police in southern Idaho say they will return to the Snake River to search for 21 stolen firearms after divers came up empty.
Twin Falls County Sheriff's Lt. Brent Hilliard tells The Times-News that the firearms are tied to a possible burglary last week in the Buhl area.
Divers on Friday searched the river below Owsley Bridge north of Buhl without results.
Police say they will continue searching the river on Sunday or Monday.
